These aren’t just words, they have helped guide every decision as we have prayed and planned. What you will see in our worship space is simple decor that utilizes not only relevant architecture and technology but with thought to the relationships that will be built or strengthened in this room - relationships between people and with God.
We want every person to feel connected to the worship and the Word as it’s shared by our house band and pastor. A long narrow building isn’t best for that, but we’ve worked hard to make it feel as close and comfortable as possible.
From this vantage point you’re close to the South exit doors from the auditorium and into the hallway and office entrance area. (You’re also pretty close to the welcome center where you can grab a coffee and chat with friends... before and after the service of course 😉)
We don’t want anything to come in the way of every person hearing and responding to the Word of God. That Word sometimes comes through the music, sometimes through the message, sometimes through another moment in the service. We want every person to hear well, to engage in the worship of Jesus and experience the presence of God and the purpose He’s placed on each life. We utilize technology to help us make sure everyone hears but the truth is that what we hear only makes up one of the senses through which we experience the world around us and the Word. We use light, video and sound to help us experience something, not just witness it.
