God created you, yes you, with unique abilities and aptitudes to build His Kingdom. Serving is the best way to discover the gifts He's given and connect with others who'll be blessed by them We have opportunities to use your personality, passions, skill set and even your schedule to help others find real life in Jesus and look more like Him every day... just like someone else has done for you!

And just so you know, YOU DON'T HAVE TO SERVE ON THE SAME TEAM FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE! You might want to and that's fine, but if you start serving on a team and find out you don't really like it, just jump to a different team. No worries!

  • Kid’s Ministry:

    Kid's Ministry at Real Life is separated into two groups:

    -Little Lifers - birth to 2 years old

    -Life Kids - 3yrs to 5th grade - this group is further separated into PreK/K and 1-5 grades


    Kid's Ministry at Real Life is designed to teach kids about Jesus on their level in a safe, fun environment. Each weeks kids are taught the Bible in creative ways and on a level they understand. They'll build relationships with adult volunteers and their peers. You can serve in Kid's Ministry on a rotation, so you're able to participate in worship on a regular basis and develop a relationship with our kids.


    *All Kid's Ministry volunteers must complete a background check and be cleared before serving in this ministry. We appreciate your trust in us and make every effort to keep your child safe while in our care.

  • Host Teams:

    Volunteers on our Host Teams specialize in helping people feel welcomed and wanted at Real Life. From the moment a person steps out of their car until the moment they leave, our Host Teams make our regulars and guests feel welcomed and right at home while they are with us. Host Teams offers opportunities to serve before, during and after all our Sunday gatherings.

    -Online Church Host Team

  • Worship Environments:

    -If you can play an instrument or sing then our house band might be the right fit for you! Our band and vocal team lead the congregation from the stage each Sunday and at special events. They help us focus on Jesus and direct our hearts in an overall experience of worship.


    -Online Church hosts - you can do this one from home, engaging those who join us through FB to help them see Jesus and feel like they are a part of our church, even if they are not present in church.

    Worship Environments offer opportunities to serve before, during and after all of our Sunday gatherings. 


    * For musicians and vocalists an audition is required. Vocalists should be able to harmonize and musicians need to be able to read chord charts and play most basic chords.

  • Production:

    Production volunteers help deliver an excellent, visually pleasing and distraction-free service environment. If you're creative, intuitive, hard-working and have a passion for visual excellence and details, working behind the scenes with Production might be a great next step for you. There are spots to volunteer at nearly every gathering. Running lights or sound, using video cameras or directing the live-streaming experience. It takes a lot of people to help every person possible find real life!

    -Video Production includes running our livestream video switcher, audio and camera

    -Front of House Video - this position runs the slides that aid in singing, communion, giving and the message.

    -Front of house Audio - managing the sound during service to make sure the music and message are heard clearly and nothing gets in the way of our worship.

    -Livestream Audio - Managing sound for the livestream to make sure that those listening in all kinds of locations and on all kids of devices hear the music and message distraction free.

    -Lights - helping manage the atmosphere in our worship area to move people closer to Jesus.


  • Events Team

    This go-get-em team helps to plan and carry out events at Real Life for large and small. From monthly game Sundays to church dinners, graduations, Holidays and everything in between if it’s happening at Real Life the events team probably has a hand in it. This team also works closely with other teams here at Real Life like worship, host teams (kitchen in particular) and events with and for the pastor.

    This team also mans our Connection Hub helping our guests and regulars register for events and things like baptisms, pizza with the pastor or serving and answering questions.

  • Building/Grounds

    This team works to make sure our building and grounds are safe, stocked and looking as good as possible. From mowing grass to removing trash this team helps make Real Life’s building and grounds not only look inviting to passers by but helps to make sure that our regulars and guests have everything they need once inside the building. Whether that’s hand towels in the restrooms or dry floors in the kitchen.
